Premier Sponsorship

Premier Sponsorship is available to corporations, foundations, and individuals who are looking to make a targeted investment in the OpenSSL Foundation. It requires a commitment of $100,000 or more, which may be payable over multiple years.

As a Premier Sponsor, you can direct your support toward a specific project and receive highly visible recognition in association with it. Each opportunity is exclusive, meaning that we accept no more than one sponsor at a time for each opportunity.

Examples of available premier sponsorship opportunities include:

Sponsor an OpenSSL software release, either with standard or long-term support
Become the founding sponsor of our annual prize for outstanding service to privacy in the non-commercial community
Sponsor significant improvements to our product documentation
Fund work on our backlog so as to enable more product enhancements

Premier Sponsorship opportunities have been designed to advance important aspects of the Foundation’s work while providing exceptional recognition and appreciation for the sponsor. The recognition period can range from one year to perpetuity, depending on the project selected, and may be acknowledged in locations ranging from the OpenSSL Library website to within the OpenSSL software source code itself.

In addition to high-value recognition that’s tied to the selected project, Premier Sponsors also receive the following benefits during the duration of their sponsorship period:

Name or logo on OpenSSL Library and Foundation home pages and sponsor pages
Prominent recognition in OpenSSL Foundation Annual Report
Premier sponsor badge for use on your website
Name or logo recognition in all conference presentations made by OpenSSL Foundation staff
